CALIFORNIA EVACUATION PLAN

Living in California, it is necessary to create and be aware of an evacuation plan. No matter where you live, disaster can and will come at some point in time.

BE AWARE

  • Be aware of dry grass & trees that may need to be groomed.
  • Ember awareness is huge. One Ember from miles away can spark another fire.
  • Know the evacuation route for your neighborhood in case of fire coming from either direction.
  • Clear any and all debris surrounding your home.


BE PREPARED TO LEAVE

  • PACK A GO BAG !
  • Meeting location for family in case you get separated.
  • Ensure you prepare at LEAST four days worth of food/clothing.

GO NOW

  • If you are being told to evacuate, don't wait- LEAVE NOW.
  • Protecting your house could be detrimental to your life, please listen to authorities and alerts. 
  • If you feel unsafe, LEAVE.
  • Monitor all media/news/alerts.
  • HEAD AWAY FROM ONCOMING FIRE.

Understand that its necessary to come up with an evacuation plan if you live in the state of California.
